What You'll Do Lead complex retail technology initiatives, with a primary focus on point‑of‑sale (POS) replacement and modernization programs Own end‑to‑end project delivery across mixed methodologies, flexing between Agile and Waterfall based on program needs Partner closely with third‑party vendors, and offshore delivery teams in a highly matrixed environment Drive program execution across planning, dependencies, risks, and milestones while keeping stakeholders aligned Manage project financials, including resource planning, budget tracking, burn‑down, forecasting, and vendor invoicing Serve as a trusted delivery leader for clients and internal teams, translating strategy into executable plans Proactively identify and resolve delivery, vendor, and resourcing challenges to keep initiatives moving forward What You'll Bring Senior‑level project or program management experience, ideally within retail environments Hands‑on experience leading POS replacement or large‑scale retail systems implementations Comfort operating across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models Experience working with offshore teams and external vendors as part of a distributed delivery model Strong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, resource allocations, and vendor spend Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt delivery approach based on program context and stakeholder needs Clear, confident communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional, matrixed teams About Us Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
