MINIMUM\n \n\n

• Strong understanding of D.O.T.\n\ncompliance laws\n \n\n
• Strong understanding of industry\/technical terms and processes\n \n\n
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment\n \n\n
• Demonstrated ability to coach and train\n \n\n
• Ability to identify business problems and develop efficient and effective solutions\n \n\n
• Ability to prioritize\/multi-task while providing accurate\/on-time results\n \n\n
• Strong time management skills\n \n\n
• Ability to respond to changing business priorities\n \n\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nDESIRED\n \n\n
• Bachelor's Degree\n \n\n
• 3+ years of experience leading a team or project\n\n \n\n
• Supervise and develop a team of delivery drivers in the transportation delivery operation\n \n\n
• Maintain on-time deliveries with a Full, Fresh and Friendly mindset\n \n\n
• Work with operations planning teams to coordinate schedules and deliveries\n \n\n
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to identify and address transportation\/safety\/ customer service opportunities in a timely manner\n \n\n
• Assist in identifying\/designing technology and procedural based solutions to increase associate's productivity and adhere to proper and safe work methods regarding equipment activity and yard control\n \n\n
• Support and communicate with other department supervisors and managers in problem solving through collaborative scheduling efforts\n \n\n
• Communicate with the customer and COE to resolve any delivery problems or challenges\n \n\n
• Manage the condition of all delivery equipment and ensure to remove any barriers for your team and site\n \n\n
• Coach the team on delivery protocol (doorstep dialog) and methods to be effective in their roles\n \n\n
• Maintain a record of coaching activity and follow up to drive continuous improvement of individual and team results\n \n\n
• Communicate with fellow supervisors and management on all activities related to daily operations and aligning the business, people and safety practices to achieve key metrics\n \n\n
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and a positive work environment\n \n\n
• Create a responsive and informed workforce through communication methods that include, but not limited to, regular meetings and huddles\n \n\n
