Full Job Description Warehouse Operations Manager Compensation:
Starting pay rate of $82,000-103,000/yr + three performance bonuses a year!

La Porte/Deer Park, TX Private Family-Owned Evergreen Company Seeks Strong Operations Leader Huyett is a 120-year-old industrial fasteners master distributor with a brand-new state-of-the art fulfillment center in La Porte. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, high integrity leader who consistently demonstrates initiative and requires minimal supervision. This individual has a proven track record of leading and developing teams and driving results through strong communication. They excel at building efficient processes, fostering a culture of accountability, and inspiring others to perform at a high level while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is responsible for leading warehouse, packaging, light manufacturing operations, delivery drivers, inventory control, shipping and receiving, safety, productivity, and team development while driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer service. This individual must have resilience to build an effective team, develop supervisory leaders, and reinforce accountability to processes with an eye toward continuous innovation in coordination with corporate and senior management. This is a complicated role given the technical nature of our product lines, the necessary discipline in workflow management, and operating as a steward of a comprehensive performance management and professional development program. Key Responsibilities:
Lead all branch warehouse, light manufacturing, packaging and fulfillment operations Drive productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, and on-time performance Coach, develop, and lead warehouse supervisors and individual contributors Maintain compliance with safety, OSHA, quality, and company standards Monitor Key Performance Indicators, implement process improvements and Lean initiatives Ensure warehouse assets, equipment, and systems are properly maintained Support strategic operational goals and customer satisfaction Manage facility repairs, maintenance, and overall appearance Manage equipment training for Raymond order pickers and Raymond swing reach trucks
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution operations Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with warehouse systems, inventory control, and operational metrics Experience with order picking equipment, swing reach, and sit down forklifts Experience with internal local delivery fleet and outbound logistics Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred
Work Environment:
This is a warehousing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights and confined spaces.
