DESCRIPTION
The Print Services, Logistics, and Distribution Manager oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of physical print materials, from production and inventory management to fulfillment, shipping, and distribution. This role is responsible for ensuring that all printed assets (educational resources, marketing materials, and internal publications) are produced to high-quality standards, efficiently managed in the warehouse, and accurately and on schedule distributed to various locations and clients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in print production technologies, warehouse management systems (WMS), supply chain logistics, and team leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Print Services and Production Management Oversee the daily operations of the internal print production facility and manage relationships. Determine the most cost-effective, high-quality production methods for various print projects (e.g., digital, offset, large-format). Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot high-volume printing and finishing equipment (e.g., binders, laminators, cutters). Ensure strict quality control measures are met for all printed materials, including color accuracy, alignment, and finishing. Monitor print queues and project pipelines to meet tight deadlines. Logistics and Distribution Plan, coordinate, and execute the distribution of printed materials to internal departments, regional offices, and external stakeholders. Track shipments and proactively resolve transit delays, lost packages, or delivery discrepancies. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw printing materials (paper, ink, toner, bindery supplies) and finished goods. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances within the inventory management system. Vendor and Budget Management Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with paper suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and shipping vendors to minimize operational costs. Track and manage the departmental budget, ensuring expenditures align with quarterly and annual projections. Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
