• Full-time Epic Personnel Partners is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager in Ruther Glen, VA!

Operations Manager:

Provide senior managerial and operational support to the General Manager by managing the day-to-day activities of the entire distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages and coordinates all operational activities within the distribution center. Assigns managers, supervisors, and warehouse associates to their specific duties and responsibilities. Oversees warehouse schedules to ensure proper staffing levels across all shifts. Establishes operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and maintaining warehouse inventories. Coordinates distribution center activities with transportation companies to ensure on-time deliveries to all stores. Manages processes related to system operations and maintains accurate records. Manages all aspects of employee safety programs and provides general training to warehouse personnel. Assists in the reclamation of damaged merchandise and ensures proper reporting of all donations. Ensures compliance with state, federal, and OSHA regulations pertaining to warehouse operations. Implements and manages department standards and guidelines approved by the Distribution Center Manager, ensuring adherence to corporate policies. Manages the performance review process for warehouse personnel to meet HR and corporate guidelines. Manages customer service functions to ensure timely resolution of all client issues, maintaining positive relationships with stores and external partners.

Qualifications:

Excellent ability to communicate effectively with corporate stakeholders, team members, and external partners to implement and manage operational programs. Demonstrated capability to take initiative and independently manage and implement operational programs as directed by corporate leadership. High proficiency in using computer systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to oversee and optimize warehouse operations. College-level training, coupled with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, demonstrating deep knowledge and expertise in the field. Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with corporate directives and standards. #CARO-1 Epic Personnel Partners is an equal-opportunity employer.
