Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution activities. Lead and manage warehouse staff, including supervisors and team members, to ensure productivity and safety standards are met. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse functions. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery . Conduct regular safety audits in compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff. Schedule training as needed. Manage heavy lifting operations with mechanical knowledge of forklifts and materials handling equipment to optimize workflow. Supervise and manage a consistent program of quality assurance and review. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving processes, and logistics coordination. Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Software and other relevant software tools. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of materials handling equipment and heavy lifting techniques.
