ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Order Processing Manager to lead our high-volume fulfillment operation. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are picked accurately and shipped out on time while managing a team of 30-40 warehouse associates. We're also looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective — reviewing our current systems and processes and recommending improvements where needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily order processing from pick to ship, ensuring accuracy and on-time fulfillment Lead, schedule, and develop a team of 30-40 warehouse associates Organize and prioritize the order of picking and outbound shipments Monitor key metrics such as throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipment rates Review existing workflows and systems and recommend practical improvements Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse fulfillment, order processing, or distribution; more seasoned experience preferred Supervisory or team lead experience require
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read and analyze operational reports and fulfillment metrics Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to effectively communicate and present information to management, associates, and staff Ability to conduct team meetings and lead shift briefings Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order management software Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about warehouse operations and long-term efficiency Experience implementing and improving scalable processes in a high-volume environment Proven track record of identifying operational gaps and developing lasting, effective solutions A self-directed problem solver who can assess systems independently and drive meaningful change Ability to clearly communicate operational status, challenges, and recommendations to upper management Comfortable presenting data, metrics, and improvement plans to leadership in a concise and professional manner Proactively keeps leadership informed on operational developments and progress
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constantly stand and/or walk during shift Constantly communicate with others to exchange information Occasionally ascend or descend stairs, ramps, or ladders Occasionally operate warehouse equipment or powered tools Ability to move objects up to 30 pounds constantly; may occasionally move or lift objects up to 50+ pounds (team lift as needed) Occasionally work in noisy or high-traffic warehouse environments
INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Performs duties within the scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes operational problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting guidelines to achieve desired results. Regularly exercises independent judgment within accepted practices and makes recommendations that affect procedures and day-to-day operations.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience Paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law Paid vacation time Holiday pay 401(k) upon eligibility Medical and dental insurance upon eligibility Sonnet 4.6
