About the Role We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Candle Maker & Fulfillment Manager to lead our production and order fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of our candles—from production planning to pouring, packaging, and delivery—ensuring every product meets our quality standards and every customer has an exceptional experience. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in both creative and operational environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage both production workflows and fulfillment logistics. Key Responsibilities Production Management Develop and manage weekly and monthly production schedules across all order types (online, wholesale, private label, custom, and corporate) Hand-pour candles while maintaining Noir Lux's high standards for quality, consistency, and craftsmanship Learn, implement, and refine internal pouring systems and workflows Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production space Support increased production demands during peak and seasonal periods Fulfillment & Shipping Oversee and execute order fulfillment, ensuring all orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time Carefully package candles to ensure safe delivery and a high-quality unboxing experience Prepare bulk and wholesale orders for distribution Maintain fulfillment supplies and ensure packing standards are consistently met Inventory Management Lead inventory tracking, organization, and restocking efforts across all production materials and finished goods Monitor stock levels of fragrance oils, vessels, wax, wicks, labels, and packaging supplies Identify and communicate inventory needs (immediate vs. upcoming) Conduct regular inventory audits with support from the production assistant Team Leadership & Training Manage and train production assistants and support staff Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth production and fulfillment workflows Maintain accountability and uphold production standards across the team Operations & Customer Support Maintain production equipment and ensure workspace safety and functionality Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and custom requests via phone or email Create and manage invoices for wholesale, custom, and corporate clients as needed Troubleshoot production or fulfillment issues and implement solutions quickly Qualifications Experience in production, manufacturing, fulfillment, or a similar operational role (candle-making experience is a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask High attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience managing inventory and supply levels Ability to lead, train, and motivate a small team Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in their work and moves with intention A self-starter who can own systems, not just follow them A team player who values community, culture, and collaboration A steady, solutions-oriented leader during busy or high-pressure seasons A genuine love for candles, fragrance, and the creative process Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Comfort working with production materials, tools, and equipment Why Join Noir Lux Be part of a growing, culture-driven brand making real impact Opportunity to help shape and scale production systems Creative, collaborative, and community-centered environment Hands-on role with room for growth and leadershipPay:
