We own and operate six Johnstone Supply locations in western Washington serving HVAC/R contractors with supply support and training. Position Overview This is a senior-level sales position for an experienced HVAC professional with a proven record of developing contractor relationships and generating significant revenue growth. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands the HVAC distribution channel, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and is motivated by a highly rewarding compensation structure. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan. Generate new business opportunities with HVAC contractors, mechanical contractors, and commercial accounts. Manage and grow existing customer relationships to maximize sales and profitability. Conduct regular customer visits, jobsite meetings, and product presentations. Partner with inside sales and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer support. Promote HVAC equipment, parts, accessories, controls, and related product lines. Identify market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales activity reports. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions. Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales and gross margin objectives. Qualifications Required 5+ years of successful outside sales experience. Demonstrated track record of territory growth and revenue generation. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory. Preferred HVAC wholesale distribution experience. HVAC manufacturer representative experience. Mechanical contracting industry experience. Technical knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems. Existing relationships with contractors and industry decision-makers in the Puget Sound market. Ideal Applicants Align with Our "PACT"
