With locations across Washinton State (Seattle, Kennewick, Spokane, Vancouver) and Alaska, we are a manufacturer and Distributor of industrial products and services. To better support our growth, we are in the look for a stellar Warehouse Manager with a proven track record in industrial materials handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant receiving, storage and distribution/shipment of products. This role will be a great fit for someone looking for an opportunity to put their leadership, exceptional organizational skills, team building, and deep understanding of chain logistics and warehouse safety regulations on a meaningful growth path. This leadership position will work from our Vancouver facility, managing the other locations remotely, with expected sporadic travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management:
Oversee and manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, putting away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping products. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and capacity. Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling equipment. Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient inbound and outbound shipments. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and challenges efficiently. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records. Implement and manage robust inventory control systems (WMS experience preferred) for real-time visibility and accurate tracking. In collaboration with the purchasing and accounting Depts. conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and reconciling any discrepancies. Manage product quality control, ensuring all incoming and outgoing products meet specified standards. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance issues. Develop and implement staffing plans, manage schedules, and optimize labor allocation to meet operational demands. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, health and safety standards (OSHA), and company policies. Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program within the warehouse. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure all team members are properly trained on equipment safety, storage protocols, including appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Stay informed of industry's best practices and emerging technologies in warehousing. SKILLS Managing Processes and People, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, Ability to Analyze Information and deal with complexity and deadlines. EXPERIENCE
(QUALIFICATIONS) A Bachelors' Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of 5 years' Warehouse Management experience. Must be familiar with Safety guidelines for materials handling. Certified Forklift operator a plus Working knowledge of Microsoft Business Central (BC) highly desirable JOB REQUIREMENTS

This position will be primarily working indoors in varied temperature conditions.
