Overview:
As we take our business into the next 50 years, we have identified the need to restructure our current warehouse team as well as modernize our warehouse facilities and processes to optimize our customer experience of high-quality interactions through every step of the customer journey with our brands. Adventurer Manufacturing is looking for someone who is passionate about work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse and material handling operations while still maintaining a safe environment. A key component of this role is leading and supporting ERP system implementation, optimization, and ongoing usage to drive inventory accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency through KPIs and other key data insights/tools. Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. Oversee proper handling and storage of materials, including hazardous good if applicable. Warehouse Operations Lead daily warehouse operations including but not limited to receiving, storage, handling, picking, staging, cycle counts, and fulfillment. Identify and lead initiatives to drive efficiencies in warehouse operation methods. Develop and maintain efficient warehouse layout, racking and storage methods, and material flow processes. Implement and enforce standard work, 5S, and lean warehouse practices. Inventory Control & Accuracy Own inventory accuracy across raw materials and WIP. Establish and manage cycle count programs (ABC classification preferred). Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root cause issues, and implement corrective actions. Partner with engineering, procurement, and production to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory. ERP Implementation & Systems Ownership Serve as warehouse lead for ERP implementation and optimization. Work with IT team and external consultants on implementation of new Infor ERP system. Work with ERP team to prepare and implement scanning and bar coding for the Infor system. Training and onboarding Responsible for training and developing onboarding plans for all new warehouse team members on department policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring warehouse team has appropriate level of familiarity with all tools and procedures needed to fulfill their roles. Leadership/Coaching Responsible for day-to-day management, coaching, and development of the warehouse and material control staff. Warehousing Subject Matter Expert Participate as subject matter expert in daily/weekly/monthly cross functional meetings regarding warehousing or company wide strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of warehouse/logistics experience. 3+ years management experience. RV industry or similar experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or Logistics Management or equivalent work experience. Advance level MS office skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access required. Previous ERP, WMS, and bar coding/scanning experience required. Exceptional leadership skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
