Job Description

Location:
943 Blue Ribbon Circle, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 Self-motivated, Detail-oriented, Multi-tasking, Team player, Self-directed, Friendly, Helpful, and Flexible. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the following Overseeing shipping, receiving, selection/fulfilment, stocking, inventory control, WMS accuracy, and equipment/facility maintenance. Managing multiple facility teams and staff, overseeing transportation staff, all staff training to include OSHA, FDA, and SQF safe food storage methods and procedures, hiring, coaching, evaluating, and staff scheduling. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing all regulatory standards and procedures. Meet regularly with warehouse staff and teams. Meet regularly with the Director of Warehousing. Responsible for all operational planning, operational financial results, and execution. Develop warehouse layout, product flow, product handling processes, and efficiencies. Requirements and skills Strong people skills. Minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership role or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, or experience. Proficiency with WMS warehouse procedures, practices, and guidelines Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff. Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal. Ability to operate warehouse scanning equipment and WMS software. Experience with power lift equipment i.e. forklifts, reach trucks, etc. Successful completion of a required drug and alcohol substance test and a criminal background check. Detail-oriented. Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to provide directions. Ability to make independent decisions within defined standards. Available to work/supervise outside normal business hours and may be required to be available evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs. Oncall or available as required 24x7. Primary Duties Receive and stock products from customers, manufacturers, and wholesalers leasing space from Winnesota Cold Chain Services. Move product within the warehouse, operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Operate equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach truck units. Ensure an accurate quantity of products being received by comparing appropriate BOL or documentation, food storage temperature requirements, and matching product numbers. Perform sortation/fulfillment to include scanning, unloading, loading, and returns processing. Question and resolve discrepancies as required. Identify product overages/shortages/damages and non-compliant products from delivery upon receipt of product. Manage overall food safety regulations for storage and distribution in the facility. Oversee non-conforming, recalled, or recouped product results for the facility. Investigate the results of all non-conforming product incidents in the facility. Responsible for allergen controls being followed in the facility. Responsible for all facility security. Responsible for all planned and unplanned facility regulatory audit results (internal and external). Stock product in the proper location. Product location information must be submitted to receive as available inventory. WMS entry and location assignments. Adhere to all safety procedures while performing all job duties. Perform sortation/fulfilment tasks with core customer sortation and distribution. Perform tasks as directed, to include facility housekeeping and maintenance as needed. Perform pick packing/order fulfilment in below-freezing conditions. All Freezer PPE gear will be provided. Preferred Skills Computer data entry skills, understanding of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and WMS software Experience in food safety storage and distribution regulations, methods, and requirements Certified SQF Practitioner OSHA compliance background. Physical Demands Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employees will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Employees may physically lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 50 pounds and 100 pounds using carry aid devices as needed. Regularly operate warehouse equipment that requires manual dexterity, requiring some coordinated movements. May require physical effort associated with using the computer or a hand-held scanner to enter information. Ability to work in cold storage environments as needed.
