Job Description

Fulfillment Area Manager:
It is the responsibility of the FAM to lead a growing team of workers to fulfill wholesale and retail orders for high-end clientele. This role is hands-on, requiring extended periods on the warehouse floor to monitor safety, productivity, and quality, in a fully secure precious metals environment. Job Summary The Fulfillment Area Manager is the frontline leader responsible for the success of the shift. Must be able to motivate and develop the fulfillment team to hit aggressive performance targets while maintaining a culture of safety and operational excellence. You will solve real-time problems, remove barriers for your associates, and implement process improvements to ensure customers get their orders on time. Must have a strong grasp of Microsoft Office and will use various fulfillment software to prioritize, queue, and print customer orders. Key Responsibilities Manage Customer fulfillment : Prioritize queue and print customer orders. Manage aging orders, and prevent current orders from aging Balance the need for incoming products to fulfill wholesale and retail orders. Inventory control : Understand and develop a strong understanding as to what is needed to fulfil orders
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-10 hourly associates. You will handle training, associate development, performance management, inventory, and foster a positive work environment.
Operational Excellence:
Track and own department KPIs, including:
Safety:
Zero-incident culture and OSHA compliance.
Quality:
Order accuracy and inventory precision.
Productivity:
Throughput metrics like Units Per Hour (UPH) and on-time fulfillment.
Daily Planning and Reporting:
Creating a Pre-plan for the following shift, Daily Plan to address hours, aging orders, throughput.
Barrier Removal:
Act as the first point of escalation for equipment issues, workflow imbalances, or staffing gaps during a shift.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
Experience:
2+ years of management experience or 5+ years in a high-volume warehouse/logistics environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel (data analysis), and labor management tools.
Availability:
Must be willing to work flexible schedules when business needs change. (9-10-hour shifts. Potential for weekends)
Desired Characteristics Analytical Mindset:
Ability to "dive deep" into data to find root causes of performance gaps.
Resilience:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and often physically demanding warehouse environment.
Ownership:
A proactive attitude toward solving problems without waiting for guidance, with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
Excellent Soft Skills:
Scottsdale is a medium size company, navigating relationships with upstream team members as well as front line workers in fulfillment is crucial
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
