• Job Description:

• Responsible for leading global logistics operations, ensuring compliant, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods across international and domestic networks.

Act as a key partner to cross-functional teams, driving visibility, process optimization, and continuous improvement in import/export activities.

Job duties:

+ Lead and develop a team with varying levels of technical experience, driving the execution and continuous improvement of import and export processes, while ensuring full compliance with customs and regulatory requirements (e.g., shipment tracking, customs holds, FDA requests, freight forwarder special request, etc.). + Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics operations, maintaining effective communication with carriers, customs authorities and brokers, government agencies, suppliers, and warehouses. + Establish, standardize, and enforce best practices for import/export operation processes, controls, and procedures. + Lead continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives across logistics operations, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. + Communicate project updates, risks, and issues clearly and proactively to stakeholders across the organization. + Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics priorities and execution: + Partner with Purchasing and Warehouse to prioritize inbound shipments. + Coordinate with raw material warehouse regarding claims, delivery issues, and other requests. + Work closely with finished goods third-party logistics (3PL) on the daily export activities and exceptions. + Support Engineering and other department requests (e.g., equipment moves, material transfers to new sites, and other requests and projects) + Ensure efficient, cost-effective logistics solutions across manufacturing sites and 3rd party processing facilities. + Develop, monitor, and report global logistics metrics. + Manage and evaluate freight logistics providers, including customs brokers. + Support the finance team on logistics budget and spend analysis (e.g., review freight invoices and rates, provide spend reports, etc.). + Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Qualifications:

• 1.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in import/export and transportation with a distributor or manufacturer. 3. A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience. 4. Prior experience within a logistics or supply chain environment. 5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 6. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

• 1.

Strong background in warehouse operations and global logistics. 2. High level of technical acuity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 3. Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office and SAP or similar ERP. 4. General knowledge of international trade and compliance requirements, including regulations such as EAR, HTS, CFR, NAFTA and AES. 5. Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members. 6.
