Monday- Friday
- 1st shift: 7:00am

- Must be available for Overtime Pay rate: $23.00
- $25.00 Job description:
- Train and supervise new employees; evaluate performance to assure adherence to performance standards, taking corrective action as needed
- Provide coaching and conduct annual performance reviews
- Monitor and utilize KPIs to determine department goals
- Eliminate costly errors through process evaluation and improvement
- Maintain awareness of employee needs and concerns and take steps necessary to foster positive and respectful work environment Interact with customers on a daily basis, respond to questions and guide them to appropriate service and staff member
- Maintain up-to-date correspondence with customers, provide photos and exceptions upon request
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to fulfill special customer requests
- Resolve internal and external customer issues in timely and efficient manner
- Ensure accuracy of documentation process and Freight Stream entries
- Investigate customer markings and piece count discrepancy issues after container devanning
- Communicate with warehouse managers to resolve count discrepancies
- Communicate and enforce quality and safety standards, make recommendations regarding safety issues
- Ensure C-TPAT and TAPA security programs compliance
- Coordinate with U.S. Customs Border Protection and other government agencies as necessary
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees, management and other departments
- Responsible for the positive image of Nova.
- Enforces company policies and procedures.
- Ensures operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Accountable for shift labor in their area.
- Helps promote safety programs for the area.
- Responsible for problem resolution. Including staff, customers and vendors.
- Manages the receipt of all goods and completion of all necessary paper work making sure accurate and complete exceptions are taken as needed.
- Manages the orderly stocking and arrangement of received goods in the warehouse and that all stock has the proper paper work attached.
- Responsible for establishing and executing shift goals.
- Recommend tools, fixtures, equipment or layout changes to improve workflow and productivity.
- Ensures all schedules and deadlines are met.
- Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service and interdepartmental relationships.
- Fosters positive working relationships, responds proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints and other employee personnel matters.
- Ensures the work area is kept clean.
- Ensures strategic freight movement practices are followed.
Pay:
$23.00- $25.
