PennAero is hiring a Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Control Manager at our Allfast Fastening Systems company in City of Industry, CA. Allfast Fastening Systems is a leading global manufacturer of solid and blind rivets, blind bolts, temporary fasteners, and installation tools for the aerospace industry. Our fasteners are crucial for the structural integrity of both commercial airliners and military jets. To learn more about PennAero's capabilities and commitment to aerospace excellence, visit https://pennaero.com Logistics and supply chain management is a key part of the supply chain, working to plan, control, and implement the storage and flow of products, materials, information or services. The manager has the authority and responsibility for supervising various logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, packaging, inventory, and raw material.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that products, inventory, parts or staff move from one place to another efficiently and cost-effectively. Directs the daily activities of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory warehouses. Manages customer Min/Max and VMI usage and inventory forecasts. Ensures timely updates of Min/Max or VMI inventory and AMU usage data in company's ERP system. Coordinates with Operations management in production execution of forecasts, closure to stores and shipping. Will interface with customers regarding establishment and consumption of Min/Max or VMI blanket purchase orders. Enforces company policies (Conduct, Quality, & Safety) as necessary. Trains and coaches as needed Implements the proper procedures or functions to optimize process, reduce cost, and increase productivity while maintaining conformance to customer requirements and/or industry specifications. Directs and monitors inventory cycle counting and reconciliation. Recommends the hiring and releasing of assigned personnel as required to support schedules. Trains hourly personnel in the understanding and use of manufacturing work orders and picklists. Implements the necessary controls to ensure products are delivered to schedule, utilizing various reports. Ensures compliance with company policy regarding documentation and computer transactions. Ensures computer transactions are of the highest accuracy to achieve maximum data integrity. Analyzes reports, conducts audits, trains and coaches users as necessary. Looks for and optimizes all opportunities for cost reduction or avoidance by identifying and implementing improved processes and/or procedures. Ensures company owned vehicles are properly maintained. Interacts with engineering, sales and marketing, various departments and suppliers as required. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Other duties as assigned This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location. Qualifications Education and/orExperience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and five (5) years related experience or a cumulative combination. Minimum five years of experience with supervisory responsibility in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environment with applicable experience in a logistics role.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
