Job Description:
YOUR ROLE
Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational accuracy and inventory excellence? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where precision and collaboration are key? If so, we have an outstanding opportunity for an Inventory Control Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across multiple accounts. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring inventory integrity, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement-all while maintaining compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead Inventory Operations:
Manage the Inventory Control departments across multiple accounts, ensuring procedures are executed efficiently and accurately in alignment with client expectations, internal policies, ISO standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other regulatory requirements.
Inventory Accuracy & Auditing:
Plan and execute physical inventories. Oversee daily cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliations to maintain 100% accuracy between physical and system inventory.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate accurate, timely reports for internal teams and clients. Analyze inventory data and trends to identify discrepancies, high-value variances, and root causes. Provide actionable insights to leadership.
System Troubleshooting:
Use strong technical skills to identify and resolve issues related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory platforms.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and client inventory teams. Deliver exceptional service and foster strong client relationships through clear, professional communication.
Process Improvement:
Recommend and implement process enhancements, SOPs, and WMS improvements that drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and train inventory control staff. Promote skill development, succession planning, and a high-performance culture. Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations in accordance with company policies.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure inventory operations meet regulatory and contractual requirements. Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures for audits, vendor compliance, and internal reviews.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, finance, IT, and client teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless warehouse performance.
Stay Ahead of Trends:
Keep up with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continually enhance operational effectiveness.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management. At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience. Proficiency with WMS platforms (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.). Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and audit compliance. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement inventory-related policies and SOPs. Valid state-issued driver's license and forklift certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or APICS. 5+ years of industry experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
