Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in supply planning, supply chain management, program management, or sales and operations planning (S&OP). 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role, specifically developing junior to mid-level program managers. Experience with demand and supply planning systems (e.g., o9, Anaplan, SAP) and using analytics to drive timely decisions.Preferred qualifications:
Experience leading a team through large-scale system and process transformations, such as transitioning from spreadsheet-based models to automated planning tools. Experience in the consumer electronics or telecommunications industry, specifically with US carriers and retailers. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment. Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to tell a story and influence senior leadership. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. In this role, you will own the consensus demand supply plan for all Pixel Phones and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for your team. You will lead a team of Program Managers as they coordinate multi-disciplinary projects, managing requirements, project schedules, and cross-functional risks across global offices and time zones. Your leadership will be critical in expanding global supply operations and defining NPI strategies including launch portfolio, assortment, and cost. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$274,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Category Planners, fostering career growth and cultivating a collaborative, high-performance culture within the Planning organization. Drive monthly S&OP, presenting demand plans, supply analysis, and risks to executive leadership, product strategy via deep analytics, proposing optimal capacity investments, SKU features, and supply strategies to maximize revenue and supply chain flexibility. Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to align on business plans, manage supply constraints, and optimize allocations. Oversee the product lifecycle, strategic planning during early engagement, defining NPI strategies and managing End of Life (EOL) transitions with a focus on minimizing excess and obsolete inventory risk. Advocate continuous improvement initiatives for planning systems such as o9, Anaplan, and Tobu.
