We are seeking a hands-on Production & Inventory Supervisor to lead our warehouse production team and oversee daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production runs efficiently and on schedule. This is not a desk-only management position. The supervisor will work alongside the production team while providing leadership, accountability, training, and operational oversight. Position Summary The Production & Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse production operations, managing inventory, supervising team members, ensuring order accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. This position will directly supervise approximately five Production Members and serve as the primary person responsible for inventory organization, inventory accuracy, production workflow, and team performance. Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to balance people management with hands-on operational responsibilities. PM Full-Time Compensation Pay Range:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour Compensation based on experience, leadership ability, and inventory management experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support a team of approximately five Production Associates Oversee daily production and order fulfillment operations Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time Coordinate workflow between production, inventory, and shipping functions Monitor daily order volume and allocate resources appropriately Ensure operational efficiency across all sales channels including direct-to-consumer and marketplace orders Maintain high standards of quality control and order accuracy Provide coaching, feedback, and performance guidance Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment Address employee performance concerns and communicate issues to management when necessary Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, and reliability Inventory Management (Primary Responsibility) Maintain accurate inventory records across all raw materials, shipping supplies, and production supplies Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs proactively Track material usage and identify waste reduction opportunities Organize inventory storage locations for maximum efficiency and accessibility Develop and improve inventory control procedures Ensure inventory systems remain accurate and up to date Monitor vinyl film rolls, shipping supplies, packaging materials, and production consumables Maintain inventory accountability throughout receiving, production, and shipping processes Production Operations Oversee daily production activities Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and accurately Operate computers, software systems, vinyl plotters, and production equipment as needed Assist with production work during high-volume periods Monitor product quality and accuracy standards Identify bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements Troubleshoot production challenges and equipment-related issues Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity Develop and implement process improvements Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) Recommend improvements to inventory, production, organization, and workflow systems Support company growth initiatives and operational scaling efforts Qualifications Required Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience Experience managing or maintaining inventory systems Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment High level of accountability and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications eCommerce fulfillment experience Amazon Seller Central or marketplace fulfillment experience Inventory control, inventory management, or warehouse operations experience Experience implementing process improvements Experience managing KPIs, productivity metrics, or performance goals Physical Requirements Employees must be able to: Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Move and handle vinyl rolls and production materials Perform hands-on production tasks as needed Work safely around warehouse and production equipment
