  • Job Description The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the tracking, organization, and control of inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations.
This role plays a key part in maintaining accuracy, minimizing shortages or excess inventory, and supporting overall supply chain effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock, including incoming and outgoing materials Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to manage orders, deliveries, and replenishment schedules Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, prevent stockouts, and reduce excess inventory Maintain organized storage systems and ensure proper labeling and handling of inventory items Track and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions Utilize inventory management systems and software to update records and generate reports Support purchasing and procurement processes by preparing orders and tracking shipments Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and finance teams to support business goals Qualifications 2-4+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in recordkeeping Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) Background in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
