Materials Coordinator Hayward, CA Job Details Duration:

3-4 month contract

Pay Rate:

$24.75/hour + benefits

Location:

Hayward, CA (Onsite) We are partnering with a leading biotech company to hire an Materials Coordinator for a short-term contract opportunity in Hayward, CA. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory transfers between manufacturing, receiving, and warehouse locations Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory variances Support shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities Monitor inventory accuracy across warehouse and offsite storage locations Generate reports and process transactions using ERP systems Ensure compliance with GMP/ISO standards in a regulated environment Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, and Finance Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in inventory, materials, or logistics Experience in life sciences, biotech, or regulated environments preferred Strong ERP experience ( SAP highly preferred ) Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes Familiarity with GMP and ISO environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with UPS Worldship and/or FedEx Ship Manager is a plus Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ideal Candidate Hands-on inventory professional in a fast-paced, regulated environment Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Able to multitask and work cross-functionally with multiple teams
