ABOUT THE ROLE

At ASC Process Systems, you'll oversee the flow of parts, materials, and supplies that support the manufacturing of aerospace, defense, and industrial equipment. You'll lead the inventory team, ensure production has what it needs when it needs it, drive inventory accuracy, and continuously improve processes across multiple facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for identifying, controlling, handling, storing, and disposing of company's inventory materials, parts, and supplies. Inventory will be maintained in four separate building sites, all within a mile of each other. In charge of the Inventory Pull System, parts kitting, and supplying production personnel with requested parts including: o Pulling of parts and materials for job-specific kits o Pulling parts and materials for field job shipments o Returning unused/excess parts pulled by production to the inventory system after jobs are shipped/completed Ensures adequate on-hand inventory of materials, parts, and consumable shop supplies in accordance with production needs including: o Tracking of on-hand quantities and identifying minimum and maximum quantities required in ASC's Appward and Office Management System (OMS) databases. o Counting of inventory through planned physical cycle counts. o Purchasing inventory as needed. o Analyzing findings to identify issues and solve problems. Develops and implements control processes, procedures, and work instructions. Develops and implements training classes. Responsible to lead the Inventory Team with a can-do and positive attitude, including emphasis of keeping everyone safe, and working in accordance with ASC's team values. Holds stand-up meetings and department meetings. Performs personnel functions such as hiring, training, reviewing, disciplining, supervising, and terminating inventory control personnel. Participates in ASC Managers Meetings, ISO audits, ASME audits. Identifies areas for cost reductions and implements strategies for cost reduction and containment.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a leadership role, and the successful candidate must be someone who can inspire others to be enthusiastic and dedicated members of a team. Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing as well as outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. At least 5 years of progressive experience in a related role. Must be passionate about continuous improvement. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions Expert knowledge of MS Excel

Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
