Job Description:
COMPANY Our Client, is a 30+ year old, asset based Third-Party Logistics Provider. Their services include warehousing, cross-docking, drayage, fulfillment and local deliveries within the retail, apparel, cosmetics, and food/beverage industries.
LOCATION
Los Angeles, CA or East Rutherford, CA SUMMARY The Inventory Manager ensures accurate inventory management across all inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations while leading a team of exempt and non-exempt associates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures inventory accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy in place. Manages inventory flow across food co-pack, cross dock, and fulfillment operations within a 200,000 sq. ft. distribution center. Maintains team knowledgeable on inventory control processes, WMS procedures, and count methodologies, and that all are followed consistently and accurately. Collaborates with teams from other facilities to share knowledge, problem solve Maintains a safe, clean, and compliant facility by upholding OSHA, FDA, AIB, and ASI standards across all inventory handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred 7+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment Experience with Warehouse Management Systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with or desire to learn performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
