FIRST RF
is seeking a motivated and experienced Materials Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for material fulfillment activities to support engineering and production of world-class RF systems and antennas. You will lead day-to-day activities and process development to plan for material needs, manage receiving and control of inventory, and support customer on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Material Planning and Procurement Configure material plans to align with manufacturing capacity and production schedules Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure material requirements and needs are understood and executed by planning and purchasing Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and Quality to address supplier performance and long-lead strategies Work with engineering, operations, and project teams to introduce new products to production and support configuration changes through ECO Receiving and Inventory Management Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments Maintain accurate inventory records within the Inventory Management system with a focus on date integrity and real-time visibility Optimize material flow from receiving to point-of-use to support production and engineering Execute cycle counts and targeted audits to improve accuracy and support accounting Leadership Responsibilities Support development and use of ERP and MRP system Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Develop, maintain, and monitor KPIs related to material management Provide performance feedback and support training, development, and succession planning Ensure compliance with US Government relations. including AS9100, FAR, DFAR, etc. Required Education and Experience Must have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 8 years' experience in operations or material management Relevant experience in people leadership Ability to analyze and solve problems Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to document, plan, and execute on projects and process improvement efforts Preferred Education and Experience Advanced degree in Supply Chain, or related certifications (CSCP, CPIM, etc.) Prior experience in AS9100 environment Experience in ERP and MRP systems, including implementation Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; however, these hours may vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. Travel About 10% travel is expected for this position. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee will also regularly be seated at a desk and using a computer.
