This is a full-time position at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO that allows 1-2 days per week of telework at the discretion of the Government. As a MD2 Logistics Manager SME , you will provide logistics leadership and management support for a combined contractor, military and civilian team across multiple operational and sustainment squadrons and
MD 2. MD 2
leads SDA operations with current SDA programs of record, networks, and Command and Control (C2) data exploitation and dissemination systems and is responsible for integration of SDA sensor data, accredited Space Surveillance Network (SSN) or non-traditional sources, forUSSPACECOM
missions while sustaining existing various sensor systems including Eglin Radar, Space Fence, C-Band Radar, the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the future Deep Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) , and the Ground-Based Electro Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS) system. Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in five areas: Product Support; Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management; Technical Order Management; Technical User Interface; and System Design, Engineering, & Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with Combat Forces Command (CFC), Space Systems Command (SSC), development contractors, and SDA stakeholders. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, and evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and systems Work closely with government and contractor personnel of all skill levels and experience. Prepare and present briefings to government and contractor leadership such as Division Chiefs. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Work independently and/or as part of collaborative teams to integrate logistics requirements into planning and logistics management of the programs. Apply financial planning experience to include Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Fiscal Year Execution Plan, Sustainment Planning Execution and Reporting System (SPERS), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reporting, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). Provide technical support and analysis on field, depot and modification program issues. Review and provide feedback and recommend changes during reviews of documentation such as program requirements, standards, technical orders, technical manuals, and LCSP, to include content, proper formatting, punctuation, spelling, and use of acronyms. Utilize Microsoft Office products as the primary software tools. AAS Years of Experience:
8 years of functional experience in logistics/sustainment logistics with at least 10 years of experience in the Defense Industry OR BA/BS and 5 years of functional experience in logistics/sustainment logistics, 5 of which must be in the Defense Industry.Preferred Qualifications Clearance:

AAS, BS or MS Years of Experience:
10+ of relevant experience in direct support of Staff, Major/Field Command logisticsAdditional Experience:
Systems knowledge of and experience working with MD2 mission systems. Experience in performing logistics sustainment and modernization support forSSC, MD 2, 2 STS, MD
4, and/or 4 STS is desired. Prior military service to include proven leadership and management of personnel and programs.Additional Information Location:

Up to 15% travel is required including MD 2 sites to include Eglin Radar (Florida), Space Fence (Kwajalein Atoll), C-Band Radar, Australia, GEODSS sites (Maui, Socorro and Diego Garcia), SST (Australia) and the future DARC sites (Australia, United Kingdom, Texas)Telework:
