Job Overview This position serves as the chief transportation manager of the company and is responsible for the overall supply chain management for the entire order cycle. Logistics position reports directly to the President of the company. Responsibilities Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service. Supply Chain management Schedule and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries. Works closely with Production Managers to arrange for timely deliveries of company products. Responds to any delivery related issues or complaints. Ensures that all operations adhere to guidelines and ISO requirements. Participates in company's team management meetings when needed. Submits Purchase Orders to suppliers for raw ingredients. Maintains an accurate inventory. Meet cost/productivity and accuracy targets. Co-ordinate with the President, Production Managers, and CFO on the full order cycle. Examples of Job-Related Tasks Ensure that ingredients are properly stored (organic, conventional, Kosher; dry, frozen, fresh) inassigned storage areas. Train and supervise warehouse and shipping/receiving workers. Daily interaction with company's Production Managers for inventory purposes. Constant supervision of company's storage areas to ensure they are clean and organized. Strictly adheres to the company's FIFO program. Education or Experienced Preferred Bachelor's or Associate degree in related field. 3 plus years experience. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Strong communication skills. The ability to work under very tight deadlines.

Pay:

$25.00 - $50.00 per hour
