Plainville, CT Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $65,000 a year 2 days ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building Teamwork Contractor management Inventory management software Attention to detail Project management software Productivity software Logistics project management Account management Accounting support Full Job Description Position Summary DisplayCraft is seeking a detail-oriented Exhibit Services Manager to manage the logistics and show site services for our clients' trade show programs directly from our Plainville, CT facility. In this role, you will become a member of a dynamic team and oversee the complete arrangement and management of all logistics and show site services, including shipping, show service orders, show site vendor coordination, and post-show cost reconciliation. You will support clients by arranging and overseeing their event services, ensuring show services orders are placed accurately and that exhibits make it to the show on time. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment and enjoys coordinating complex projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities Complete Event Services Arrangement & Management:
Plan and coordinate full-service logistics for clients' events, including shipping arrangements, service order processing, show site vendor selection and coordination, and post-show cost reconciliation.
Shipping Coordination:
Arrange, track, and manage all shipments to, from, and between shows (including bill of lading, labels, and small package services)
Vendor Management:
Select, coordinate, and manage show services vendors, freight carriers, and other service providers.
Service Order Processing:
Prepare, submit, and manage all service orders (material handling, installation & dismantle labor, cleaning, electrical, rigging, furniture rentals, graphics, etc.) including payments and any special requests.
Post-Show Reconciliation & Billing:
Review and reconcile all contractor and vendor charges and prepare final categorized invoices for clients.
Client Relations:
Support clients on all logistics and services matters, providing proactive communication, troubleshooting, and outstanding support via phone and email.
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with account management, design, fabrication, and warehouse teams to align on show requirements, budgets, and timelines. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the successful execution of client events and the operational objectives of the Exhibit Services department. Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of experience in logistics, event operations, or related roles (exhibit house, show services contractor, or exhibitor experience preferred). Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, project management tools, inventory/shipping software, and basic accounting/reconciliation processes. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, client satisfaction, and cost control. Preferred Skills & Attributes Positive, solution-focused attitude and ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
