Job Description:
Manages all departmental forms and ensures they are up to date. Establishes and maintains vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations. Processes departmental invoices for payment accurately and timely. Coordinates with other departments to support their supply chain needs. Conducts price comparisons and vendor assessments to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Resolves any issues related to problem invoices with vendors. Assures approval of daily supply orders and payment of requisitions in the system. Provides orientation and training for new managers on supply chain functions. Reviews and manages equipment repair and maintenance reimbursements. Assists with facility construction and setup, ensuring all necessary materials are procured. Purchases equipment and supplies as needed for the department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. [Required]
  • Strong computer skills and experience. [Required]
  • Independent thinker [Required]
  • Capable of problem resolution and analytical thinking. [Required]
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally. [Required]
  • Able to receive and handle "after hours" priority calls. [Required]
  • General secretarial skills including typing, math proficiency, and organizational skills. [Required]
  • People oriented [Required]
  • Excellent telephone skills. [Required]
  • Possesses skills to negotiate successfully with vendors.

Education:
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
  • Post-secondary school education
Work Experience:
  • Previous experience in a medical facility and understanding of medical terminology [Required]
  • Previous experience in areas of responsibility [Required]

Pay Range:
