Job Description

Air and Ocean Logistics Manager Miami, FL, USA International logistic company in Miami is looking for an experience and energetic individual with freight forwarding knowledge, customer service skills, good interpersonal and communication skills. This position will be responsible for assisting ocean, breakbulk freight Operations as well as air freight shipments. This position needs a tech savvy and self-motivated, hands-on team player that will quote, book and process customers' shipments.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Air and Ocean Logistics Manager will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Air and Ocean departments Operation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Issue shipping quotes, answer clients and agents' requests. Perform daily ocean freight shipments. Perform periodical air freight shipment. Perform other projects as instructed by supervisor and department as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field Preferred . Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in ocean Freight Shipping Required. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Required. Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools; particularly Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. High level of attention to detail - takes personal pride in delivering high quality work. Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience; excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
