Job Summary This role is an opportunity to lead a critical logistics function that directly supports production success on time, every time. We are looking for a leader who can develop high-performing teams, while also strengthening and improving operational processes in a rapidly evolving environment. You will maintain close connection with teams across multiple sites, ensuring alignment, engagement, and execution. This role requires a leader who can balance people leadership with operational excellence, driving results across people, quality, velocity and cost. What You Will Do Lead and manage a team responsible for receiving, inventory management and material flow across onsite and nearby offsite (3PL) locations Oversee daily logistics operations including kitting, material pulling and line stocking, ensuring parts are available on time, every time for production Establish, maintain, and continuously improve operational processes and standard work, ensuring alignment to People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) priorities Monitor and manage inventory accuracy and material movement, proactively addressing discrepancies with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Conduct and lead root cause analysis to resolve operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions that improve quality and cost performance Partner cross-functionally with production, purchasing, logistics and engineering teams to ensure alignment and material availability for production builds Track and analyze logistics performance, inventory levels and process effectiveness, using data to drive improvements in velocity and overall operational efficiency Escalate issues as needed and provide actionable recommendations to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost outcomes Lead team performance through coaching, development and accountability, supporting strong people and culture outcomes Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training, while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with required experience leading teams in a logistics, manufacturing, or operations environmentWhat You Will Have Problem Solving:
Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.Data Gathering & Analysis:
Basic understanding and knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment. Describes alternative data-gathering techniques and tools. Documents basic data-gathering methodologies. Identifies the purposes of data gathering and analysis. Identifies key objectives in gathering and analyzing data.Performance Management:
Understanding and knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. Demonstrates an understanding of performance management concepts. Explains organization's core performance factors and ratings.Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Basic knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Explains characteristics and steps in an effective decision-making process. Identifies issues and communicates with others when a decision needs to be made.Planning and Organizing:
Working knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. Raises awareness of potential bottlenecks and disruptions to the schedule. Breaks tasks into manageable steps that can be incorporated into a personal work plan. Escalates concerns over competing or conflicting priorities. Monitors progress continuously and adjusts tactics for handling situations on a case by case basis. Basic understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Explains the importance of accuracy in own function or unit. $81,370.00 - $122,060.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
