Full Job Description Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced, strategic Warehouse Manager with a valid CDL to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations across our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing processes, and leading a team to ensure efficient distribution and logistics. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in supply chain management systems, and a focus on continuous improvement to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Duties:

Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure high productivity and safety standards. Oversee inventory management, including inventory control, cycle counting, and accurate record-keeping using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400. Manage shipping & receiving operations, ensuring timely dispatching of freight and order fulfillment while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate transportation planning and management, including fleet management, freight logistics, 3PL partnerships, and dispatching activities. Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor and analyze supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization in procurement, demand planning, production planning, and materials management. Oversee procurement activities including purchasing, vendor relations, and negotiation to support warehouse needs. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation, warehouse distribution, and transportation management. Develop budgets related to warehouse operations and monitor expenses related to freight, shipping & receiving, and inventory control. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software to streamline operations across the supply chain.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics tools. Extensive experience with inventory management, procurement, shipping & receiving, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), and materials management. Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives using Lean or continuous improvement methodologies. Skilled in demand planning, production planning, budgeting, and cost control strategies. Proficiency in supervising teams with excellent leadership skills; previous experience supervising warehouse staff is essential. Familiarity with transportation planning, fleet management, 3PL coordination, dispatching, and logistics operations. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
