Job Description:
The Senior Manager of SIOP (Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning) is responsible for building, implementing, and maturing the cross-functional planning process across the enterprise that aligns demand, supply, and financial plans to optimize business performance and service value to OTR's customers. This role ensures an integrated approach to forecasting, inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and sales alignment to achieve customer service, revenue, and profitability goals. The Senior Manager, SIOP requires strategic thinking and strategic alignment strong analytical capabilities to drive SIOP processes in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Essential Functions:

SIOP Strategy and Leadership o Develops, deploys and matures the end-to-end SIOP process to balance demand and supply, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets. o Partners with senior leaders in Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure data-driven planning and strategic alignment. o Continuously refine the SIOP process to improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and customer performance. o Creates and provides coaching and training for all SIOP stakeholders ensuring clear expectations around roles and responsibilities within the SIOP processes. o Creates and maintains the SIOP Calendar, updating meeting cadences in alignment with all stakeholders. Demand Planning and Forecasting o Oversees the development of accurate, consensus-based demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights. o Collaborates with Sales to understand promotions, product launches, and market shifts impacting demand. o Monitors forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions where necessary. Supply Planning & Inventory Management o Translates demand forecasts into actionable supply and production plans to ensure efficient procurement responses, operations and capacity utilization. o Balances inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize working capital while meeting service level targets. o Partners with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to manage supply constraints and risks. Performance Management & Analytics o Develops and tracks key SIOP metrics such as forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health. o Provides executive reporting and insights to drive informed decision-making. o Leverages data visualizations and analytics tools to communicate trends, risks, and opportunities. Continuous Improvement o Drives cross-functional collaboration and process standardization to enhance SIOP maturity across the enterprise. o Mentors and develop SIOP and Supply Chain members to build organizational SIOP capabilities. o Identifies technology or system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. At times, the role will need to coordinate a group or a team in order to achieve company goals on an interim/project basis.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. At times, employee might be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment.
Physical Demands:
1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 2. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. In order to meet our customer demands and internal objectives, at times this role will be required to work outside of the normal schedule, including weekends.
Travel:
There may be occasional local day travel or overnight travel as it related to training activities or support of assigned plants/locations.
Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field. 2. 8+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, sourcing or logistics with at least 3years in a leadership role. 3. Proven success developing and leading SIOP processes in a distribution or manufacturing environment. 4. Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (Syspro, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9 or Anaplan)
Preferred Education and Experience:
1. Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company. 2. APICS certification or other related Supply Chain certifications 3. Project Management experience. 4. Manufacturing, distribution or global supply chain experience. 5. Master's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
