Onsite M-Th 6:am-4:30pm Job Summary The Manufacturing Inventory and Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory control, production planning, cycle counting, and managing obsolete/slow stock. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, aligns production schedules with demand forecasts, and minimizes costs while maintaining high service levels. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage production planning schedules to meet customer demand and business goals Oversee inventory control processes, including warehouse location consolidation and location audits Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete stock Collaborate with procurement, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability Lead demand forecasting and capacity planning efforts Analyze production and inventory data to improve efficiency and reduce waste Implement and maintain ERP/MRP systems for planning and inventory tracking Ensure accuracy of inventory records through cycle counts and audits Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives Manage and mentor planning and inventory staff Rental administration Qualifications Experience in manufacturing planning, inventory management, or supply chain Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (NetSuite) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong leadership and team management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Key Competencies Strategic planning and execution Attention to detail and accuracy Communication and cross-functional collaboration Decision-making under pressure Continuous improvement mindset Work Environment Manufacturing/plant setting with office-based planning responsibilities May require occasional extended hours based on production demands
