Supervisor, Materials Management

Supervisor, Materials Management Position Summary:

Directs and oversees employees responsible for receiving, preparing, storing, and distributing supplies as needed for patient care.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for inventory operations and records in the Materials Management Department, to include physical layout, assignment of stock product locations, adequate quantity on hand levels, product outdate management, and appropriate storage conditions of special need or hazardous items Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain management Works under broad supervision Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Three years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrates and applies knowledge of DNV standards and other position related laws and regulations Demonstrates knowledge of

ISO 9001

principles

Working Conditions:

Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position Typical equipment used in an office job Reaching with hands and arms shoulder height or below Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
