Job Description

Demand Manager 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars A Demand Manager, reporting to the VP of Operations , has the responsibility to lead forecasting, planning, and alignment between sales, product management, purchasing, production and engineering. This role is critical in ensuring customer demand is met efficiently while optimizing resources and maintaining a strong demand and supply balance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
S&OP Leadership:
Organize and lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting, driving collaboration and alignment across teams.
Strategic Contribution:
Assist in developing strategies, policies, and objectives related to demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP.
Forecast Management:
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve forecasts for all applicable products.
Order Support:
Ensure all Buy/Build-to-Order products are entered into the MRP system and supported by the production plan.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborates across planning, purchasing, production, sales, engineering, and product management to guarantee on-time product delivery, removing barriers and driving solutions to achieve results. o Partner with product management and sales to gather, validate, and update product forecasts. o Work closely with purchasing to align material lead times with forecasted and order-driven demand. o Coordinate with planning to confirm production capacity can support both forecasted and order-driven demand.
Sales Order Review:
Monitor incoming sales orders daily to confirm they align with forecasts, production plans, or purchase orders. High level understanding of product lines and customer profiles to optimize forecasting and productions planning based on similar products and or customer demand. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Owns Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Corporate product forecast Pulls together team members to deliver to promise dates
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in technical or business related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing or distribution environment. 2+ years of experience leading S&OP process Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and forecasting methodologies, SAP a plus. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, purchasing, and production teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience leading meetings and driving consensus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
On site, Aurora Headquarters Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly. Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
