Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, organized, and energetic Service Writer & Trailer Parts Specialist to act as the primary liaison between our customers and our service technicians. This dual role requires a candidate who can efficiently manage repair work orders from start to finish while simultaneously overseeing parts inventory, ordering, and retail sales. As the Service Writer & Trailer Parts Specialist , you will be the main point of contact for our service customers while managing the daily operations of our parts department. You will be responsible for creating service work orders, ordering parts for shop repairs and retail sales, managing inventory levels, and ensuring a seamless experience from customer drop-off to pickup. Responsibilities Maintain consistent inventory levels of parts to ensure trailer repairs and sales can move forward without delay. Record and track trailer parts sales and repair work Maintain trailer parts warranty information Work with the Sales team to ensure trailers are complete and ready to go at the time of sale Ensure all parts ordered meet the quality standards of the company Secure best available pricing on parts using strong negotiation and communication skills Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills Knowledge of trailer parts and industry preferred, but not required
