Job Function The Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing domestic logistics operations across North America to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials. This role manages over-the-road (OTR) transportation, supplier performance, and logistics processes to support manufacturing and customer demand. Key responsibilities include managing relationships and performance of domestic transportation subcontractors, including evaluating vendor capabilities and ensuring cost-effective service delivery. The role is accountable for coordinating the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods between suppliers, plants, warehouses, and customers while maintaining alignment with company requirements and operational needs. This position develops and maintains logistics processes and procedures to drive consistent on-time performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. It includes oversight of freight spend, supplier agreements, and transportation scheduling strategies to optimize cost and efficiency while supporting production requirements. The Logistics Lead partners cross-functionally with production, procurement, quality, and customer service to ensure business objectives are met. The role also provides leadership support to Logistics Coordinators across North America, including training, performance support, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and continuously reviewing systems, technology, staffing, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational optimization. Responsibilities

• Uses and monitors operating systems to meet the Vibrantz Technologies requirements for domestic logistics.
• Manage the relationships and cost-effective performance of our domestic over the road (OTR) subcontractors.
• Maintains system for evaluation of subcontractors.
• Responsible for the timely movement of domestic OTR materials to meet recognized requirements of customers, plants, and warehouses.
• Knowledge of company requirements and vendors ability to meet business demands.
• Develop and maintain process procedures to ensure consistent on time performance.
• Ensure compliance with domestic regulations and training requirements.
• Continuously review processes, performance measures, technology and staffing to identify efficiency opportunities and operational optimization.
• Support as a lead for the Logistics Coordinators for NAM.
• Manage supplier agreements and freight spend for NAM OTR transportation.
• Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of raw materials and trucks from suppliers to support manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts.
• Interface with production, quality, procurement and customer service to ensure business needs are met.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
• Keep staff fully trained.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records.
• Special projects as assigned by the Logistics Director

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the various aspects of transportation operations or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dept. of Transportation Rules and Regulations.
• Knowledge of computers.
• Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits The hourly range for this position is $23.77- $29.71 per hour. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, in alignment with internal equity.
