2nd Shift Inventory Supervisor We are seeking a motivated and experienced 2nd Shift Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory control operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient material flow while leading a team of inventory and material handling associates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily inventory control activities and material movement
  • Lead, coach, and develop inventory and material handling team members
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and variance investigations
  • Partner with Production, Shipping, and MP&L teams to support operational goals
  • Maintain FIFO practices and warehouse organization
  • Process and review inventory transactions in SAP and related systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions
  • Support physical inventories, audits, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate effective shift handoffs with other shifts
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, and inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of inventory accuracy metrics, cycle counting, and material flow
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
