Job DescriptionAs a Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
Relate education to real life situationsGrow as a professional and an individualCollaborate with the Plant Operations, Distribution Center, Sourcing and Materials teamsCreate and execute service improvement and inventory management strategies that help Therma-Tru service their customers and achieve their financial metrics.

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related fieldProblem solving and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities at the same timeMS Office experience, primarily in ExcelQualifications A successful Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern will meet the following requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related fieldProblem solving and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities at the same timeMS Office experience, primarily in ExcelAbility to work effectively in a team environment, actively pursues and drives continuous improvement activities, and demonstrates strong leadership.

Physical Demands•Physical demands of performing the duties of this job include, but are not limited to, occasionally lifting/handling up to or equal to 50 lbs, frequently lifting/handling up to or equal to 15 lbs., and constantly lifting/handling up to or equal to 5 lbs.
Non-Physical Demands•Include but are not limited to time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular work schedule/overtime, multi-tasking, working closely with others as a team, and tedious or exacting work.
Work Environment•While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.
Education and Experience•High school diploma or GED required and pursuing a degree in business, engineering or related field.
Mathematical Skills•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills•Computer literate. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel) required.
Language Skills•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory ManagementAnalyze usage and trend reports to provide recommendations on stocking levelsMake suggestions for product rationalization using data and analysis techniquesService Level ManagementMonitor backorders and past due PO's to confirm and communicate delivery dates of materialManage expedite requests to ensure efficient production schedules or meet customer delivery datesCreate reports using ERP systems, Cognos and Excel to provide data for support in decision makingProvide support for material that is needed from offsite warehousesMaterials and Scheduling SupportWork with team members who manage raw materials as well as schedule production linesGain experience working on a team in a high-volume production factory A successful Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern will meet the following requirements:Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related fieldProblem solving and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities at the same timeMS Office experience, primarily in ExcelQualifications A successful Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern will meet the following requirements:
