Job Description

Hello potential future Oatly employee. It's us, the original oatmilk company that started in Sweden back 25 or so years ago and has since expanded to the U.S. where we've continued growing at a rate such that we need more brilliant minds to come work with us to keep the momentum going and the oatmilk flowing. Now onto the formal stuff. We're looking for an IBP Lead to guide Oatly NA's end‑to‑end Integrated Business Planning process and keep our demand, supply, and financial plans tightly connected. In this role, you'll facilitate core IBP forums, collaborate across teams, and use advanced planning tools to strengthen accuracy and decision‑making. Here are the things we want to hire you to do:
IBP Process Leadership:
Support the department to continue the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the IBP process Facilitate monthly and quarterly IBP meetings to review, challenge, and validate integrated plans Ensure alignment between demand & financial plans across the business
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the different IBP forums, fostering collaboration to synchronize plans and actions Work closely with senior leadership to align strategic objectives with operational capabilities Drive consensus among stakeholders to resolve conflicts and achieve integrated plans
Forecasting and Planning:
Transcribe the monthly demand forecast and create rolling supply plans on a monthly basis Develop scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making Monitor performance against plans and provide insights and recommendations for course corrections
Data and Analytics:
Utilize advanced analytics (Anaplan/BI) to enhance planning accuracy and decision-making Ensure the availability and accuracy of data for IBP processes, leveraging digital tools and technologies Develop and maintain IBP metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Change Management:
Champion the IBP governance to embed the IBP culture and practices across the organization, enabling timely & effective decision making Develop training programs and materials to educate teams on IBP processes and tools Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in integrated planning and execution
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business planning and execution Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in supply, demand, or operational capabilities
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IBP and related fields Implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IBP process Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Here are the things we think you need: BA/BS degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field preferred 5+ yrs experience in business planning, supply chain management, finance, or a related discipline At least 2-3 years of experience in either Anaplan or other advance planning solutions Proven track record of leading integrated business planning or sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives to tactical execution plans Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently and with limited supervision Effectively prioritizes multiple demands, ability to be flexible during high workload periods And here's another list of qualities we think make a good Oatly team member: You feel connected to our mission of encouraging health, sustainability, and transparency You are a self-starter who doesn't need direct supervision to motivate you for success - we believe strongly in building a culture of individual accountability and ownership, and need partners that can embrace that mentality You are ready to make your mark in a smaller, growing brand, leveraging your experience to deliver amazing results and build an outstanding company You have an entrepreneurial spirit in that you're comfortable with ambiguity and are energized by the process of building something lasting from the ground up You enjoy sharing your quirkiness and talents with your coworkers Another bulleted list felt a bit too…bullet-y.
