Supply Chain Manager

Supply Chain Manager We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our automotive operations team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory control, supplier performance, production scheduling, and logistics coordination. The right candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and able to quickly respond to production and supplier issues as they arise. Responsibilities Manage material flow to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements Work directly with suppliers on pricing, delivery performance, and issue resolution Monitor inventory levels and help reduce shortages and excess inventory Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly Track and improve supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost savings Support forecasting and planning activities Identify supply chain risks and develop backup plans when needed Lead continuous improvement efforts within purchasing, logistics, and inventory processes Ensure compliance with company and customer requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered 5+ years of supply chain, purchasing, or operations experience in manufacturing Automotive industry experience strongly preferred Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Plex Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with lean manufacturing and JIT inventory is a plus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
