Full-Time About Us Hembree Transport Inc. is a growing FedEx Independent Service Provider (ISP) operating multiple routes with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team development. We are seeking a results-driven Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and drive performance across all areas of the business. Position Summary The Manager is responsible for the full oversight of terminal operations, including driver performance, safety compliance, staffing, financial performance, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage both people and processes while maintaining FedEx standards. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee all daily pickup & delivery (P&D) operations Ensure routes are dispatched efficiently and meet service expectations Monitor route performance, productivity, and cost control Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop managers, dispatchers, and drivers Maintain strong team culture focused on accountability and performance Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with FedEx standards and DOT regulations Oversee driver safety programs and accident prevention initiatives Maintain compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) and vehicle safety requirements Financial Oversight Manage budgets, payroll oversight, and operational expenses Monitor KPIs including cost per stop, service levels, and labor efficiency Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce waste Customer & Vendor Relations Maintain strong working relationship with terminal management Address service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction Coordinate with vendors for fleet, maintenance, and operational needs

Qualifications Required:

3+ years of management experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operations Strong leadership and team management skills Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and operational performance Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Preferred:
