Seeking an experienced Breakdown Coordinator / Parts Manager to manage roadside repair coordination and parts inventory for our fleet. This is critical, fast-paced role requiring strong decision-making, vendor management, and hands-on inventory experience. Ideal candidates have prior experience in trucking, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment environments. Key Responsibilities Breakdown Coordination Manage driver breakdown calls and determine repair urgency and action plans Coordinate roadside service and dispatch qualified repair vendors Negotiate repair cost and approve services to control expenses Communicate effectively with driver, vendors, and fleet personnel Track and document breakdown events, repairs, and costs in system Ensure minimal downtime and efficient resolution of equipment issues Parts & Inventory Management Identify, source, and order correct parts using catalogs/systems Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels Receive and verify shipments (packing slips, invoices, quantities) Issue parts to mechanics and work orders Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory organization Resolve vendor discrepancies and track deliveries Required experience 1-3+ years in fleet maintenance, trucking, or heavy equipment environment Experience coordinating repairs or working with service vendors strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of: parts lookup systems vendor sourcing and pricing maintenance or dispatch software Skills & Qualifications Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Excellent communication and multitasking skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Comfortable working in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment Basic math and computer/data entry proficiency Valid drivers license required Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off + 10 paid holidays Stable, long-term career opportunity Supportive team environment Work Environment Fast-paced operation setting Combination office coordination and parts/inventory duties On-call rotation required Apply Now If you have experience in fleet operation, breakdown coordination, or parts management and are ready to take ownership of a critical role, apply today.
