Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control and Fleet Manager to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. This position plays a key role in establishing organized inventory practices, supporting field operations, and keeping vehicles prepared for daily work. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a detail-focused approach, and the ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, vendors, and operations leadership.
Responsibilities:
Develop and organize a complete inventory structure for electrical materials, using available drafts and templates to create consistent standards across the operation.
Partner with vendors and internal teams to maintain reliable stock levels so technicians have timely access to the materials required for scheduled work.
Conduct recurring inventory counts, reconcile physical stock against system records, and submit accurate weekly reporting to leadership.
Support the rollout and ongoing use of ServiceTitan by entering inventory data, maintaining system accuracy, and helping align reporting with operational needs.
Set clear inventory procedures for technicians and staff, provide guidance on expectations, and reinforce accountability for compliance with company standards.
Oversee the company fleet across departments by tracking vehicle readiness, usage, and overall condition for day-to-day field operations.
Coordinate inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and keep trucks safe, compliant, and dependable.
Monitor vehicle cleanliness and job readiness to ensure each unit is properly equipped and prepared for service demands.
Maintain reporting dashboards and operational records that help leadership measure inventory accuracy, fleet status, and process performance.
