Position Summary:
The VP of Supply Chain & Logistics is the senior enterprise leader responsible for end‑to‑end supply chain strategy, execution, and transformation across TPS Group Holdings. This role owns procurement, inventory management, distribution, logistics, vendor and carrier strategy, and supply chain systems across all brands. This leader is accountable for evolving the supply chain from a reactive operational function into a proactive, data‑driven competitive advantage, capable of supporting significant growth in scale, complexity, and revenue. The role combines enterprise‑wide strategic ownership with deep operational leadership and full financial accountability. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation Own and drive the enterprise supply chain vision and strategy, aligned with growth, profitability, and customer experience objectives. Lead transformation initiatives that improve speed, availability, cost structure, scalability, and resilience. Establish supply chain standards, operating models, and governance across procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution. Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO and executive leadership team on supply chain risks, opportunities, and investments. Operations & Performance Leadership Oversee all supply chain operations including: Procurement and supplier management Inbound freight and import operations Inventory planning, flow, and availability Distribution center operations Outbound logistics and fulfillment Monitor and act on key performance metrics including inventory turns, lead time, service levels, cost, quality, and delivery performance. Drive consistent perfect‑order execution through cross‑functional collaboration with Planning, Merchandising, Transportation, and Operations. Ensure supply chain operations can scale effectively through peak seasons and periods of rapid growth. Financial Ownership & P&L Accountability Own full P&L responsibility for supply chain cost centers, including logistics, transportation, distribution, and inventory‑related expenses. Develop, manage, and deliver against annual budgets and long‑range operating plans. Identify, prioritize, and execute cost‑reduction and margin‑improvement initiatives. Lead high‑value negotiations with carriers, suppliers, and 3PL partners. Vendor, Carrier & Partner Management Lead selection, contracting, and performance management for suppliers, freight carriers, and third‑party logistics providers. Establish and enforce service‑level agreements, compliance standards, and performance scorecards. Drive freight strategy, routing guide compliance, and commercial improvements (e.g., FOB/DDP optimization). Lead RFP processes for transportation, warehousing, and supply chain services. Systems, Data & Analytics Own the supply chain technology ecosystem, including WMS, OMS, ERP, TMS, and planning tools. Ensure real‑time visibility into inventory, logistics, and fulfillment performance. Leverage analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to support executive decision‑making and operational accountability. Partner with IT and business stakeholders on system enhancements and future‑state capabilities. People & Organizational Leadership Build, lead, and develop high‑performing supply chain leadership teams and functional organizations. Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and enforce accountability at all levels. Coach and develop leaders through succession planning, capability building, and stretch assignments. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Act as a TPS brand ambassador, modeling integrity, composure, and customer‑first decision making. Experience & Background 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, combining operational leadership and strategic ownership. Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑scale supply chains in retail or multi‑location, multi‑brand environments. Proven ability to drive transformation, improve performance metrics, and scale operations. Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen with executive‑level judgment. Track record of building teams, developing leaders, and influencing cross‑functional partners. The position is based out of our Acton, MA corporate office and will require regular travel between the corporate office and our Distribution Center in Leominster, MA.
