Job Description

The Logistics Center Product Evaluation Lead is a hands-on team leader who partners closely with the Product Evaluation Supervisor to drive daily operations, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting team development while actively contributing to departmental tasks. You will lead by example—guiding associates, executing operational priorities, and ensuring compliance with company processes and quality standards.
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations Execute and oversee daily workflow to meet departmental goals and service level agreements (SLAs) Lead by example by performing all functions within the Product Evaluation department Support daily labor planning and workload prioritization Serve as backup to the Supervisor, including work allocation and meeting participation Cross-train with internal teams and upstream/downstream partners Workflow & Process Management Run daily reports to prioritize work, maintain FIFO, and resolve discrepancies Coordinate expedite requests and support timely issue resolution Maintain equipment software files and assist with high-volume upgrades (electro-mechanical) Communicate Bill of Material (BOM) discrepancies with business partners Process reinspections for non-conforming products Quality & Compliance Perform functional and cosmetic evaluations of equipment Support complaint investigations in collaboration with quality teams Contribute to departmental audit programs and compliance initiatives Uphold the Quality Management System and safety protocols Continuous Improvement Actively participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including: 5S Idea Boards Audits Visual Controls Voice of Customer (VOC) Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service levels Training & Development Assist in onboarding and training new associates Support development of work instructions and process documentation Act as a Subject Matter Expert on equipment form, fit, and functionality Communication & Collaboration Maintain strong communication across departments and with internal stakeholders Collaborate with Logistics leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance performance and capabilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role is measured by: SLA adherence Work-in-progress (WIP) carryover Audit quality results Safety compliance Contribution to VOC and continuous improvement initiatives Minimum Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Demonstrated leadership capabilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to foster a team-oriented, continuous improvement culture Positive attitude with the ability to motivate others Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role Advanced Excel skills Experience with SAP, WMS, or similar systems Experience inspecting or assembling medical or technical equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Background in electro-mechanical systems or medical instrumentation Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift: Up to 25 lbs regularly 30-75 lbs occasionally (with assistance) Ability to push/pull up to 320 lbs (with assistance) Use of ladders and manual pallet jacks as needed Operation of standard office and warehouse equipment Work Environment & Expectations Fast-paced logistics/warehouse environment Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads Overtime may be required with minimal notice Core Competencies Accountability for KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Commitment to safety and quality standards Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Why Join Us?
