Job Summary:
Position Description & Qualifications Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics & Program Management Professional to support Department of Defense (DoD) customers across aviation, armament, and sustainment programs. This role provides advisory and execution support for logistics, maintenance, and life-cycle operations, ensuring mission readiness through disciplined program management, integrated logistics support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate brings senior-level leadership experience across aviation maintenance, supply chain operations, asset management, and large-scale logistics programs supporting complex government systems and operational environments. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) across aviation and weapons system programs, including sustainment planning, spares, repairs, obsolescence mitigation, and asset accountability. Support Program Management activities, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, and cost. Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) addressing production support, sustainment, and logistics challenges. Manage or support warehouse operations, government property, and high-value asset accountability in compliance with DoD and Serco policies. Apply Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies to improve readiness, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with DoD maintenance, safety, quality assurance, and audit requirements . Interface with senior government, military, and industry stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Mentor and support logistics, maintenance, and program staff across distributed teams. To be successful in this role, you will have: US Citizenship Active Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in logistics, aviation maintenance, sustainment, or operational program management Demonstrated experience supporting DoD aviation or weapons system programs Proven experience managing high-value government assets and logistics operations Strong background in process improvement, CPI, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
