Job Description
An innovative robotics company based in the greater Boston area is building the future of tire changing and wheel servicing through advanced automation. This full-time opportunity is focused on scaling real-world hardware systems that combine robotics, machine vision, and precision electromechanical engineering. The team is deploying cutting-edge technology directly into the field, modernizing a legacy automotive process that hasn't fundamentally changed in decades. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role where you will own and shape the entire supply chain function from the ground up. The biggest draw here is autonomy-you won't be maintaining a process, you'll be building one. They are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and knows how to take products from prototype to full-scale production. You'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing, make critical decisions around vendors and cost, and directly influence the success of systems deployed in the field. Required Skills & Experience 8-15+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing Proven experience scaling hardware from prototype to production Strong sourcing experience across electrical components, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication Experience working with or managing contract manufacturers Ownership mindset around cost, timelines, and delivery Ability to make decisions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Desired Skills & Experience Established supplier network that can be leveraged quickly Background in robotics, automotive, or industrial hardware Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments Experience scaling production systems from early builds to full manufacturing What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 40% Supply Chain Strategy & Supplier Management 30% Procurement & Cost Optimization 30% Manufacturing & Production Support Daily Responsibilities 60% Hands On 20% Management Duties 20% Team Collaboration The Offer Bonus eligible You will receive the following benefits: Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
