DESCRIPTION
Join our team as a Senior Manager of Demand Planning and play an important role in advancing our supply chain excellence. You'll lead and develop a team of demand planners while serving as a key advisor on customer demand plans and forecasting. In this position, you'll collaborate across functions to optimize inventory management, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen customer relationships. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support teams, you'll develop and implement effective demand planning strategies that ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction. processes, implement improvement initiatives, and use data analytics to make informed decisions that impact our operations. This role offers the opportunity to enhance our supply chain processes while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in supply chain with demonstrated expertise in demand planning and forecasting
Preferred Fields of Study:
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- Supply Chain certifications (APICS, CPIM) highly valued
- 3+ years of people management experience leading and developing teams preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge in demand/supply planning, preferably in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical industries
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with statistical forecasting, CRM concepts, and inventory optimization
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and change management
- Thorough understanding of data analysis and interpretation
- Leadership capabilities with success influencing across organizations
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Experience in GMP or regulated environments preferred
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Project management capabilities managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Willingness to travel (10-15% including international)

- Experience with budget and revenue management
- Problem-solving skills with ability to address complex situations
- History of improving forecast accuracy and meeting business objectives Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $117,000.
00-$162,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
