  • Full-time Job Overview The Parts Supervisor oversees daily parts and warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory, timely parts availability, and compliance with inventory control processes.
This role provides direct supervision to parts personnel, ensures workflow efficiency, enforces company policies, and supports shop productivity through strong parts execution. Responsibilities and Duties Supervise daily parts and warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service level expectations are met. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels to meet operational demand while minimizing excess inventory. Oversee receiving, inspection, verification, and proper storage of all incoming parts. Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and organized for quick access and accurate retrieval. Manage daily issuance and distribution of parts to internal departments, ensuring accuracy and documentation. Enforce inventory control procedures and compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Lead cycle counts and support the Annual Physical Inventory, including reconciliation of discrepancies. Monitor parts shortages, backorders, and damaged materials and escalate issues to management. Support parts ordering and ensure timely turnaround on internal requests and customer quotes. Train, coach, and provide ongoing performance feedback to parts staff. Keep performance documentation and assist with disciplinary action as needed. Maintain records of all parts transactions and prepare reports on inventory activity as requested. Support continuous improvement of parts and inventory workflows. Direct, supervise, schedule, and support parts personnel to maintain consistent workflow coverage. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with truck and trailer parts or in parts management or related role, preferably in the heavy-duty trailer sector, is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership and team management experience. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform duties that require standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. #INDP
